The overnight, coed camps are two week in the month of July.  Activities specifically designed for each age group may range from white water rafting down the Red Deer River, swimming at local lakes, hiking in the mountains, rock climbing in the west country or hanging out at camp, where there is never a dull moment! At the same time campers will be learning about God and His awesome creation through chapels, Bible study and group activities guided by caring Christian staff.

 

Sonrise Camp is an outreach ministry of the First Christian Reformed Church in Rocky Mountain House.

Sonrise camp is available for your next family reunion or retreat. There is a camp kitchen, dining hall, amphitheater, rustic cabins and camping space for approximately 20 units. 

 

 

Take Highway 11 across the river. Just across the bridge turn right; proceed for 1.5 kilometers; look for the Sonrise Camp sign on your right hand side; follow the drive to the left up the hill
